'Breathing' magma cap discovered less than 4km under Yellowstone National Park

I've always been fascinated by nature and the awesome power that nature can unleash.

I read this and my mind immediately went to my “what if” scenarios thinking. What if this “cap” were to get disrupted and fail? What if it had millions of years ago? How would things on this planet be different? Would our planet even be habitable?

Yellowstone is an amazing place full of wonder that gets more interesting every year as advances in technology and sciences reveal new discoveries.

A "breathing" cap of magma is stopping one of the largest active volcanic systems in the world from exploding in the US, scientists have discovered.
