Scientists Studied 'SuperAgers' For 25 Years and Found That They All Have This 1 Habit in Common

Great news for social butterflies: Northwestern University just released a new study after 25 years of tracking so-called SuperAgers—folks in their 80s who think like they’re still in their 50s. While scientists are still unraveling the mystery of their supercharged brains, one trait kept popping up: these ageless wonders are incredibly social.

Yep, all that chatting, connecting, and swapping stories might actually help keep your brain younger. Researchers think this social spark helps strengthen important neural pathways linked to memory and awareness.

The bottom line? Staying socially active isn’t just fun—it might be one of the best anti-aging tools we’ve got. So go ahead and RSVP “yes” to life.

...the researchers also discovered that SuperAgers tend to share certain lifestyle and personality traits. A key one worth noting: These older adults tend to be highly social and outgoing.
