There have been many studies on the benefits of mindfulness, and it's a good time to start practicing it. We live fast, work long hours, we are constantly on the move "doing" things but not taking enough time to just "being" and doing nothing. I downloaded few apps and have been trying to be consistent and practice a few minutes each day. Now I will try something new- practicing this with my son. It is a good impetus for change and to instill a behavior that hopefully will become one day a routine.
