A global call to action

Build Beyond Ever Better (BBEB) is a global community of people who believe in the power of sharing positive news and interesting developments from around the world. We celebrate those who are doing great things, highlight the key issues shaping life on our planet, recognise important milestones and progress, and exchange knowledge on how we can all contribute to making the world a better place. 

Originally launched as Build Back Ever Better after the COVID-19 pandemic transformed so much about the way we think, work and live, Build Beyond Ever Better represents a natural evolution. It’s about building something greater than before.  
 

In a rapidly changing world, this has never been more important. The issues facing our planet are being felt more acutely than ever, from climate change and natural resource management to population growth and social wellbeing.
 

There is also a growing realisation that global issues are interconnected. We are therefore all being challenged to consider our impact on the world – as citizens, consumers, business leaders, government representatives and more. For example: 

• Individuals should think about their carbon footprint, waste produced and water usage. 
• Consumers should be mindful of the impacts of their purchasing decisions.  
• Businesses should work towards more ethical, sustainable operations and supply chains. 
• Governments should invest in infrastructure, upskilling talent and innovation. 
   

We all need to take responsibility for our actions and their impacts. BBEB is about shedding light on how we do that and where we go next.

The incredible opportunity

As a global, digital platform, BBEB enables anyone who can reach us to write articles. 
 

By signing up to become a contributing author, you can inspire “ever better” change by highlighting positive, uplifting, informative and hopeful stories. You could write about: 

• A child helping to clean up a park or beach.
• A government implementing a diversity and inclusion initiative. 
• Businesses giving back to their communities. 
• Research or studies on areas of interest to people, nature or planet. 
• More sustainable ways to do everyday tasks. 
• Tips and tricks to support mental or physical health and wellbeing. 
• Key issues impacting our world (e.g. modern technology, climate change, food security etc). 
   

How it works

BBEB allows you to join our community as a reader or contributing author. 

As a reader, you can ‘like’ and share content with your own networks – either via email or through social media, where you can add your own thoughts. It’s a great way to join the conversation and highlight the topics which matter most to you. To ensure that you don’t miss interesting updates, you can also subscribe for a weekly digest email on your favourite topics and authors. 

Authors enjoy the same benefits as readers, as well as being able to create a BBEB profile and write stories. On your profile, you can share details such as your job title, a photo and social media links. Your profile will also contain a summary of all the posts you’ve written on BBEB.

What BBEB doesn’t support 

We are grateful to have an active community of contributing authors showcasing stories from across the world. However, we will not permit abusive, harassing or discriminatory content or that which does not conform with our BBEB community values.  

To help ensure alignment with our values, please following these guidelines: 

• Do not share sensitive or confidential information.
• Do not publish personal details without consent. 
• Always be respectful and aim to represent your chosen topic truthfully. 
• Avoid inflammatory or negative content. 
• Be mindful of potential sensitivities concerning certain topics and handle with care. 
• Tell stories in your own words – don’t plagiarise or pass off someone else’s work as your own. 
   

Note that all posts will be reviewed by our moderators and only approved content which meets our community values will be published.
