As part of Intertek’s Global Wellbeing Program, Kindness, Intertek Philippines recently launched its 'Wellness Olympics’. Under the core area of wellbeing, employees were given an opportunity to share their blessings through the Company’s “My 10X Way Generosity Campaign”, an employee-driven donation program established in 2018 to provide assistance to calamity victims.  

A total of PHP73,200.00 (around £1.1k) was raised by Intertek employees. The 40% is reserved for employee emergency fund, in the event of calamities such as flooding, volcanic eruption, earthquakes and such, while the 60% of the funds is donated to a chosen recipient organization. 

The chosen recipient this year is the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). PGH was hit by a fire in the morning of May 16, 2021. Patients were evacuated on wheelchairs and hospital beds to the grounds and in the parking lots. The 60% of the donations amounting to PHP 50,000.00 was handed over to Mr. Vic Zoleta Project and Events Associate of the Philippine General Hospital on a Tuesday morning in the Intertek Makati office.
