It’s my honour to be one of the judges in this annual STEM competition orgainsed by Vocational Training Council.  The aim is to inspire students’ creativity and innovation through the integration and application of STEM knowledge to invent and/or improve for our living.

This year’s theme is Navigating the New Normal.

Here is the shortlist from 40+ secondary schools.

The projects are about sanitisation, social distancing while we concern these very much.  Although we have already built the habits, innovation solutions will help us more precisely and efficiently to upgrade the control measures.

I can see their passion and creativity.  The most inspiration is their attitudes towards sustainability. They started the project from concepts and sketches, underwent experiments, challenge and failure. They presented their final solutions today. I am so proud of them.

Let’s give them a big praise for their great work.

The result will be announced by mid Jul. Will keep you informed.
