Anxious about the easing of Covid restrictions? Here are 7 tips to help deal with it

This is a controversial topic for sure as many are desperate to return to a semblance of normality while the other side is still hesitant about what could happen if we simply forget the past 16 months. I myself fall somewhere in the middle. I enjoy walking outside in the park without a mask in non-crowded areas but with a son who was born three months early I am also an extremely nervous parent that would give my life to protect my child and choose to wear it indoors and in crowded areas.

The only reason I decided to post this today is because we must leave it with us as individuals to choose for ourselves now that restrictions have been lifted in London. People must at the very least be respectful of each other and their choice to wear or not wear a mask. Please do not heckle, harass or make fun of someone for either wearing or not wearing one. It's a sensitive time. Be kind to each other and respect one another. We still have a ways to go...together.

Be aware of personal space and personal choice, Spector said on Monday as “Freedom Day” dawned in England. “Some people might not be ready to hug, kiss, shake hands or reduce social distance. Don’t assume what people are comfortable with. Instead, ask them and respect their personal choices.”
