The Indirect Benefits of Accessibility

Accessibility is so much more than enabling disabled people to access your products and services. I have posted before about how it can boost innovation and often benefits more than the intended audience. Christian Hellmann shares the response he recieved to a tweet on uses for subtitles and how subtitles helped him learn english in his The Unseen Benefits of Accessibility article.

As we build back ever better, now is the time to ensure we build with accessibility in mind.

By thinking like that, accessibility work isn’t a chore or something we need to do to be legally compliant, but it is a quality feature of our products.
