Three FREE activities to keep kids entertained and learning about the planet this Easter

IT can be tricky to keep the kids occupied over the Easter holidays - without breaking the bank.

But the experts at Glasgow Science Centre have teamed up with green charity Zero Waste Scotland to come up with three brilliant activities - which are fun as well as teaching youngsters about the planet.

As food waste is the number one driver of climate change in Scotland, the experts are keep to teach kids the value in the grub we bin.

It can replace fossil fuels, fruit peels can become cleaning products, egg shells can become plant foods and designers are even experimenting with materials like used coffee grounds to make glasses.
