You would be surprised that there are some people in your circle, who want you to stay in the same position, regardless of their own circumstances.

Those are the same people who are afraid to move and believe you shouldn't either! The saddest thing is that those same people can masquerade themselves as friends or family. Even partners and spouses can throw 'shade' on your efforts to change, and it can be hard, if they are in close vicinity of you, constantly routing (and plotting) for you to fail!

 What's a Saboteurs Deal?

They project their own fear of growth onto others and try to influence or discourage your growth. Chances are, they fear you leaving them behind, or no longer being reliant on them. The fear, that you're accumulating success, could have them even being in a secret competition with you, that you didn't even know about!

How to Deal with Saboteurs.

If you are not able to give them a wide berth, then it can be tricky, however not totally impossible, so don't despair!

Keeping Strum!

Have you ever noticed, when you reveal an idea, a goal you wish to achieve, you may either have a nay sayer in your ears, telling you what a bad idea it is, how it will never work blah blah (eyes rolling) The best thing in these circumstances, is to not mention your plans to begin with! Just research and do it! Don't mention anything until it is achieved and is something that cannot be taken away. That satisfaction of completing and achieving your goal, is empowering enough to enable confidence in yourself and have the self-belief within.
