Cooperation and collaboration are key if businesses are to move to a greener way of working, according to Honeywell’s chief sustainability officer, Evan Van Hook.
Speaking to Forbes as the multi-national launches its first ever environmental sustainability index, Van Hook said most people understand climate change must be addressed or “our lives are being to be materially impacted”.
“People are seeing the other side of the mountain top and saying ‘that’s where the economy is going. I am really not going to be economically viable if I don’t have an acceptable sustainability footprint’,” said Van Hook.
