Raising Hope, One Shave at a Time: Hair for Hope Satellite Shave Event

On 10 July 2025, a powerful act of solidarity unfolded in Singapore, where a group of courageous individuals from Intertek came together to support children battling cancer. As part of the Hair for Hope Satellite Shave Event, held in collaboration with the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF), 18 brave participants shaved their heads to raise funds and awareness for this meaningful cause.

The event opened with heartfelt remarks highlighting the importance of empathy, compassion, and standing together as a community. That spirit came to life during the ceremonial first shave—an emotional moment that inspired the rest of the participants to take their turn in support of children facing unimaginable challenges. Whether first-timers or seasoned supporters, each shavee embodied the event’s message: no child should face cancer alone.

So far, the initiative has raised SGD 12,440 from 160 generous donors, bringing the campaign closer to its SGD 20,000 goal. All funds go directly to CCF to continue their vital work in supporting children and families affected by cancer.

To every donor, volunteer, and shavee—thank you. You’ve done more than lose hair. You’ve raised hope.
