Supporting Young Talent in Kalundborg

At Intertek, we believe that strong communities are built by investing in people. That's why we are proud to support local initiatives that help young talent develop, grow and achieve their goals.

One recent example is our sponsorship of young swimmer Marinus Schmidt from Kalundborg. As part of a local swimming challenge, Marinus set himself an ambitious goal: to swim at least 3,300 metres within one hour.

Ahead of the event, Marinus visited our Kalundborg facility, where he met members of the Intertek team and proudly wore his new sponsor shirt. It was an opportunity to celebrate not only his commitment and determination, but also the importance of supporting young people in our local community.

The sponsorship was linked directly to Marinus' performance, with the contribution supporting his swimming club and helping provide additional opportunities for training, competitions and team activities.

At Intertek, our commitment extends beyond the services we provide. We are passionate about making a positive difference in the communities where we live and work. Supporting young people like Marinus reflects our belief in encouraging ambition, resilience and continuous development, values that are also at the heart of our organisation.

We wish Marinus and his teammates every success in the future and look forward to following their progress in the years ahead.
