The Renault 5 Turbo 2, first launched in 1983, has always been one of the five cars in my dream garage.
Now, the all-electric Renault 5 Turbo 3E has me questioning that imaginary lineup. It captures everything I love about the original: the wide arches, bold interior, rally attitude and unmistakable character, while bringing it into a more sustainable future with an electric powertrain.
So here's the dilemma: in my imaginary five-car garage, do I replace the Turbo 2 with the Turbo 3E, or do they both deserve a space... meaning one of the other cars has to go? Now that's a difficult decision.
