Hurricane Ian maps: The latest on projections and possible paths

As we are waiting for our first hurricane as residents of Florida to hit, I can tell you we did not take this as seriously as we should have several days ago...rookie mistake. Like everyone else we ran out and purchased extra water and dried goods, a few flashlights and candles (what was left at least) but late last night we had to load up on sandbags to put around the house as the major concern for us now is flooding.

Going forward, I will not be doing this the day before a storm with every other person in the state... we will have a preparedness kit ready to go so that we can simply hunker down. Hope everyone effected by the storm stays safe and suffers minimal damages. See you when the sun comes back!

A major hurricane is targeting Florida, bringing with it the threat of high winds, dangerous storm surge and even tornadoes.
