Intertek USA accepted the Annual Trash Tag Challenge to celebrate Earth Day 2024, heading outdoors to local parks, rivers, and office and laboratory sites to clean up trash, plant trees, and support other environmental efforts. These local initiatives help to reduce waste and plastic pollution, improve habitats and biodiversity, and prevent harm to wildlife and humans, which can inspire even larger environmental action in our communities.
Teams from around the country shared their stories and pictures of their Earth Day activities for others to use as inspiration every day.

Intertek Wisetail collaborated and partnered with the National Forest Foundation and Gallatin Valley Land Trust in Montana. These lands not only support recreation heritage and the outdoor lifestyle, but also supply water to millions of Americans across numerous communities, purify our air, sequester carbon, and offer timber, minerals, oil and gas, and other resources vital to industry and society.
The Wisetail team has two initiatives for staff. The first is called Hot Laps, Wisetail donates a dollar for every hot lap an employee completes. 1 Hot Lap = 5K running, walking, or biking. This encourages the team to be active & support our Earth. The second initiative is the Wisetail New Business Sales Initiative. This is the second year that they have hosted a Sales Initiative to help donate to the NFF. Each New Business deal that they win, Wisetail donates to the NFF.
