Coffee or Caffeine May Help Protect Against Cardiometabolic Diseases

Some good news for coffee drinkers! Moderate coffee and caffeine consumption, specifically three cups of coffee or 200-300 mg of caffeine daily, is associated with a significantly reduced risk of diseases like coronary heart disease and stroke. A study from Suzhou Medical College found that moderate coffee intake reduced the risk of new-onset cardiometabolic multimorbidity by over 40%. The findings suggest that coffee and caffeine can play a protective role in preventing these conditions.
