When you're little, you're taught that people call 9-1-1 for serious emergencies. For a 4-year-old in Mount Pleasant, Wis., that includes mom eating your ice cream. Luckily for said mom, the kid didn't press charges. And yes, the kid eventually did get his ice cream after officers surprised him two days later. 

I have questions: As sweet as this story is, I can't help but wonder why the mom ate her kid's ice cream. They don't really mention that part in this article. Was it a case of the kid saying he was done and then changing his mind? Because I've totally been there. 😬
