Is this a small silver lining on the horizon?
Amsterdam is the first capital city to ban advertisment on anything which results in higher carbon emission, e.g. directly fossil fuels and meat, but also products and services which lead to higher usage of fossil fuel, i.e. traveling, cars and airlines.
Amsterdam however is not the first town in The Netherlands going in this direction, Haarlem in 2022 and The Hague in 2025 already issued similar bans.
