New psychology research shows acts of kindness predict seven types of well-being

We've all heard the expression, “a little act of kindness goes a long way,” but it actually may go even further than we thought.

Research indicates that performing an act of kindness (hopefully you'll do it consistently) can have impacts beyond just a simple act and carry over into many aspects of our everyday lives.

...researchers found the students reported greater happiness, thriving, flourishing, resilience, and optimism, as well as lower levels of anxiety and loneliness during weeks when they performed more acts of kindness.
