Intertek Cortland was excited to join forces with the America's Sustainability Team to help create awareness and enjoy the outdoors as we celebrated Earth Day in April. While we were weary from waking up to snow and frigid temperatures the morning of the trash tag challenge, by early afternoon the sun was shining and the team was ready to go.

With nearly 30 volunteers, our staff set out into the Cortland community collecting garbage bags full of trash and debris from five of our local parks. Getting outside, walking the parks, and enjoying the sunshine was just what our employees needed after a long upstate, NY winter and we were happy to support our local community.
