Have you traveled to the Galápagos? There is a new project starting that's sure to make an impact. Global Wildlife Conservation and Leonardo DiCaprio have launched Re:wild in an effort to restore the Galápagos Islands. Together with about 40 other organizations and some $40 million toward ecosystem and species restoration in the Galápagos Islands, they aim to restore Floreana Island, home to 54 threatened species and reintroduce 13 locally extinct species, including the Floreana mockingbird—the first mockingbird described by Charles Darwin.
