Malta has reached ‘herd immunity’

Malta has achieved mass immunity, otherwise known as ‘herd immunity’. This was just announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne during a news conference.

This comes as 70% of adults would have received at least one dose of the vaccine by this evening, with 42% being fully vaccinated.
