These women are helping Amazon become a more sustainable business

Amazon is recognizing Women’s Empowerment Month by highlighting women who lead with sustainability practices in their daily work.

As part of our commitment to The Climate Pledge, we are dedicated to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. We also know that sustainability goes beyond protecting the environment; it’s about protecting the human rights of the people and communities that support our value chain, too. Meet some of the women advancing Amazon’s sustainability commitments in a variety of ways—all of which are helping us become a more sustainable business.

“It’s been exciting to hear certifiers say they have a backlog of requests from more brands wanting to be certified, and from brands who have been certified and accepted into our program, hearing how the Climate Pledge Friendly label has brought more awareness to their products,”
