Las plantas parecen usarlo también en beneficio propio, en momentos de estrés en los que se sienten amenazadas. Un nuevo estudio publicado en Science Advances analiza este mecanismo de autodefensa, así como la manera en que las plantas regulan la producción del ácido salicílico.
