Encuentran un espectacular gusano espagueti con forma de pompón

Los investigadores del MBARI (Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute) se encontraban rastreando las profundidades del golfo de California cuando se toparon con una especie de pompón anaranjado. ¿Qué era esa masa misteriosa? Tras realizarle una prueba de ADN y un análisis detallado, los investigadores concluyeron que se encontraban ante una nueva especie de gusano espagueti Biremis, con cuerpo de color naranja brillante y una gran cantidad de tentáculos melocotón.
