It's an amazing sight to see the stars above us, especially in a dark location where they shine like jewels in the night with the Milky Way stretching as far as the eye can see. But, unfortunately, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find areas where light pollution isn't impacting the view. 

And while LED bulbs have the intended effect of reducing energy usage, they also have the unintended impact of allowing brighter light for the same amount of energy. This, combined with how LEDs emit a larger amount of blue light, becomes problematic for astronomers and star gazers.
