Just back from a trip in Norway who I've met with my new colleagues from Intertek Caleb Brett, Exploration & Production, Minerals & Agri from the North Europe & Central Asia.

We had the opportunity to visit the Stavanger Oil Museum and I learnt a lot on the Oil & Gas industry as I'm still quite new even if I've been working for Intertek for 18 years now (or I'd only a partial view from my french perspective/experience).

During the visit, we also discover more about the CCS and also Hydrogen projects in Norway. 

Don't know if this is the solution but if we don't try we can't know!

While some environmental groups and experts remain opposed to the idea of carbon capture and storage, there is a growing consensus that it is needed in hard-to-abate industries like cement and steel if the planet is to reach the goal of net zero emissions. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 2022 report says CCS is an important part of the overall strategy for mitigating climate change.
