Food Loss vs Food Waste

I am always trying not to waste any food in my refrigerator. I set the products in order based on the best before date and plan every week a meal plan to deliver and I buy what I need based on a shopping list. By this way, not only I minimize the loss in the kitchen but also save money in the market by obeying the shopping list.

Food waste occurs along the entire spectrum of production, from the farm to distribution to retailers to the consumer. Reasons include losses from mold, pests, or inadequate climate control; losses from cooking; and intentional food waste.
