Global Disability Inclusion, LLC posted the below on LinkedIn and I found the difference in the percentages of companies stufying different diversity segments. Disability is certainlty the forgotten diversity segement, despite being the biggest minority group.
Great article in Psychology Today about disability is the forgotten diversity segment. We agree. And we have previously shared from our research with Mercer that 90% of companies study gender differences, 75% race & ethnicity, but only 5% of companies look at disability as a diversity segment. Yet, 15-20% of your employee population likely has a disability.
