Pangaia, Archive, EON create Digital Passport-enabled ‘ReWear’ platform

The cornerstone of the Pangaia ReWear programme is the use of Digital IDs, driven by EON’s advanced technology.

Pangaia and EON first joined forces in 2021 to develop Digital IDs, establishing a connection between individual Pangaia products and their digital counterparts stored in the cloud. These Digital IDs enable customers to scan their items and access product details and environmental impact information, facilitating circular services.

The Digital IDs encompass all the necessary product information, including size, colour, material, and provenance, streamlining the resale process on ReWear. This system allows sellers of preloved Pangaia items to easily list their products on the ReWear peer-to-peer marketplace.

“Pangaia ReWear is more than just a resale platform. It is the first step towards our ultimate goal – the creation of a future where we are able to close the loop by creating a truly circular ecosystem for our apparel, powered by the industry’s leading technology companies – Archive and EON,” said the Pangaia Collective.
