What is Audio Description (AD)?

You might have come across the term or noticed the AD symbol while streaming and questioned what Audio Description means. Audio Description (AD) is a supplementary narrative that clarifies on-screen events. It narrates body language, facial expressions, and actions, making the content understandable through audio. For those of us who rely on Audio Description, it's a vital feature that animates the programming. Without seeing the on-screen action, you lose out on a significant aspect of the show. Audio Description guarantees that you can keep up and appreciate the program fully.
