The National Football League (NFL) is once again expanding globally, with its first scheduled game in South America, more specifically Brazil and additionally to Spain in 2025. Their mission is to continue to grow the game of football outside the United States to new audiences.
After holding its first regular-season game in Europe in 2007, the league is taking on a new continent with a game in Brazil. Friday's game will mark the first time an NFL game has been played in South America
