This is such a cool find! Imagine someone back then stashing away their coins, hoping to avoid pirates – only to possibly (and likely given the find) never return! It’s wild to think about the ancient threats people faced, like pirates, compared to the digital pirates, scammers, and hackers we deal with today. Some things never change – just the tools!
