Potato Fashion: It's Coming!

Fibe is a sustainability-focused UK startup that has developed a groundbreaking process to transform agricultural waste from potatoes into biodegradable textiles.

This innovative approach reduces our reliance on traditional, resource-intensive fibers like cotton and polyester. By converting these crop byproducts into eco-friendly materials, Fibe is addressing the growing environmental concerns associated with the fashion industry.

The company’s efforts have earned them recognition at international sustainability competitions, highlighting their potential to drive sustainable change in textile production and reduce waste across industries.

Fibe is on a mission to develop the world’s most sustainable textiles. We are the first to extract fibres from potato harvest waste. Our solution consumes 90% less land and 96% less water than cotton, and 94% CO2e savings compared to polyester all whilst being 83% cheaper than eco-leaders hemp.
