Belgian designer Mathilde Wittock transforms old tennis balls into stylish furniture, including benches and chaise lounges, addressing a waste problem since tennis balls take 400 years to decompose in landfills. By repurposing these materials, Wittock aims to raise environmental awareness while reducing landfill waste. She works with sports clubs to collect the used tennis balls and can process up to 1,800 daily.
