Well, this is a new one! In Florida, marine biologists are using a "speed dating" approach to save endangered queen conchs. Warming waters have affected their ability to reproduce, so over 200 conchs have been relocated to cooler, deeper waters in hopes of fostering mating. Volunteers helped identify conchs for relocation, and the relocated conchs are thriving in their new environment.
