Intertek Vietnam, in an exhilarating collaboration with the Intertek Vietnam Trade Union, hosted the vibrant "We are EARTH RANGERS 2024" event, bringing together 130 enthusiastic young participants. Held simultaneously across three major cities; Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Can Tho, the event was brimming with energy. This dynamic event was designed to ignite children's curiosity and raise awareness about environmental issues, especially the profound impact of plastic on life and the planet.

The day's activities kicked off with one of the most exciting highlights: "Fun Lessons for Kids on the Impact of Plastic on Life and the Environment," led by environmental expert Vien Nguyen, Head of Environmental Training and Assessment. The children engaged in interactive discussions, learning about the harmful effects of plastic waste on ecosystems and daily life, all while having a great time.

Next came the Recycling Fashion Show Contest, where children impressed the audience through creatively designing fashion pieces from recycled materials such as fabric scraps, newspapers, and plastic bottles. The contest promoted recycling and inspired children to think deeply about sustainable practices.

The event featured exciting art workshops on origami and handcrafting flowers, offering the children an opportunity to explore their creativity while learning about environmental conservation. Jungle-themed discovery games also brought the children closer to nature, with various activities such as waste sorting, learning how to fold and properly dispose of milk cartons, combining fun with educational experiences.

Intertek Vietnam honoured the outstanding students of the 2022-2023 academic year, celebrating their achievements with well-deserved awards.

The children were equally excited and eager to participate in future events. Many of them shared how much they had learned about the environment and plastic waste and are already looking forward to next year’s fun and educational activities.
