Daisy, AI Granny keeps Scammers Occupied

In preparation for International Fraud Awareness Week, O2 has introduced Daisy, an AI Granny designed to engage scammers in lengthy conversations, thereby protecting potential victims from fraud.

Daisy, crafted with advanced AI technologies and trained by renowned YouTube scambaiter Jim Browning, is an AI Granny so realistic she's indistinguishable from an actual person. She can engage with scammers in real-time, independently of her creators, and O2 has employed her to handle suspicious calls non-stop. Daisy integrates multiple AI models that collaborate to instantly listen and reply to scam calls, and her realism has effectively engaged numerous scammers in conversations lasting up to 40 minutes.

This is an interesting use of AI to reduce scam calls, I can't help wonder what is next…

Amy Hart said “I know first-hand just how sophisticated nasty fraudsters can be, that’s why I’ve teamed up with O2 and AI Scambaiter Daisy to take the fight back to them, keeping them busy with calls going nowhere.
