This could pave the way for more AI-enabled personal computers, indicating a future where AI is central to personal tech.

In addition to AI in computing, products like Nuwa's Pen and Halliday's smart glasses are adding functionality to daily life. The Nuwa Pen is a breakthrough in digital productivity, capturing handwritten notes and converting them into text through an AI-powered app, even enabling translation and summarization. In health tech, Withings unveiled its Omnia mirror, a concept product that scans users' health data, providing insights and recommendations through an AI assistant. This technology highlights the increasing role of AI in personal health, where smart devices can track key metrics like heart health, sleep, and metabolic data, guiding users toward healthier lifestyles.

As AI becomes more embedded into consumer products, it holds the potential to reshape industries, enhance productivity, and improve health outcomes, all while making advanced technology more accessible.

While technological skills in AI, big data, and cybersecurity will be sought after by employers, softer human skills, including creative thinking and adaptability, will remain important, the report says. The number of jobs in renewable energy and environmental engineering sectors show strong growth potential. Surprisingly, frontline workers such as farm workers, delivery drivers, and construction workers will see large job opportunity expansion, as will workers in the healthcare and education sectors.
