In Tragedy We Often Find Fellowship

The tragic fires that have devastated so many people in the Los Angeles area are going to require years of rebuilding and recovery. You'd think an event like that might cause isolation and fear to spike, but the opposite is actually true. Tragedy brings communities together in ways they never attempted (or cared) to do before.

I love a good “community rallies around victim” story. It shows the best of people when most news shows the darker side.

Like any tragic event, help if you can… pray if you're so inclined… but don't ignore. No one should have to struggle in silence.

‘The Love in the Air Is Thicker Than the Smoke’ On the streets of L.A., Michelin-starred chefs are cooking for firefighters, boutiques are giving away clothes and a sprawling city is coming together.
