People who say “please” and “thank you” when they write on ChatGPT usually display these 7 traits

Do you say please and thank you when using AI, such as Chat GTP? I often do, even though it's a computer on the other end helping.

It's not something that you need to do (unless you fear the robot uprising one day 😂), but it is something that a lot of people add into their queries. And that got the researchers wondering, “why?”

Is it just old-school politeness, or does it hint at something deeper about their personality?

As it turns out, they identified seven common traits among this courteous group. Traits that extend beyond their interactions with an AI, and offer a glimpse into how they navigate the world at large.

The list includes:

  1. Politeness is ingrained
  2. Consideration for others
  3. High emotional intelligence
  4. Detail-oriented
  5. Gracious under pressure
  6. Patient listeners
  7. Respectful communicators

Does this sound like you? Read the full story for the details about each of these traits, and remember... A please and thank you goes a long ways, both to the machines and other people we interact with!

It’s an intriguing observation, isn’t it? The people who take the time to type out “please” and “thank you” when interacting with an AI like ChatGPT. Even in this age of hurried texts and clipped emails, some individuals still uphold these simple courtesies.
