Automation Milestone: Over One Million Robots Now Power Logistics Centers

Amazon is on the brink of using more robots than humans in its warehouses.

The company has spent years automating tasks previously performed by humans in its facilities, and has deployed more than one million robots in those workplaces.

That is the most it has ever had, and nearly the number of human workers at the facilities.

Amazon also announced it’s releasing a new generative AI model called DeepFleet for its warehouse robots.
