What I thought would be a little light reading is actually quite fascinating. This study states that one's “coolness” can be boiled down to 6 traits. Agree or disagree? You may agree completely with all the traits, a few, or none at all.
To me, it is far more individualized as everyone has their own idea of what cool is. For example, in choosing an image to accompany this story I picked one that I thought was cool, but I know not everyone would pick the same.
New research suggests, however, that there are certain universal rules. A study has found that people across five continents and 13 countries — from Mexico and China to India, Germany and South Africa — tend to agree on what makes someone cool.
