Apple is renowned for building accessibility into their products with a continuous release of updates and new features to improve our quality of life. They have recently released this video demonstrating the power of Action Mode within the camera app enabling people with Parkinsons to take stable videos.

In addition to action mode, the video also demonstrates the Voice Control and Touch Accommodation features that combine to reduce barriers and enabled people with disabilities to use the iPhone.

I found this to be an emotional video, it is though similar features like Voice Over that I am able to use the same iPhone as everyone else. Disability can happen to anyone at any time, creating products that include everyone, increases the market size and builds competitive advantage. Apple continue to benefit from their commitment to inclusion, are you focusing on inclusion in your business?

"For Brett, Bette, and Ellen, every moment matters," adds Apple. "With Action mode on iPhone, they can capture smooth hand-held videos and reclaim the joy of filming their favorite moments — supported by accessibility features like Voice Control, which help them operate the camera and navigate their iPhone with ease."
