A good walk just got better.
I find a good walk early in the morning is a great way to start the day. The air feels different, the light has a unique quality and there is excited anticipation of what the day has in store. (Plus, breakfast when done).
Walking is a great way to get moving and now, according to researchers at MGB, walking, even a moderate amount, can delay Alzheimer's. And, if the data holds true, walking more, delays the impacts even more.
Get out there and walk. Your body and mind will thank you.
“Every step counts — and even small increases in daily activities can build over time to create sustained changes in habit and health.”
