I was fluttering through the web and came across this interesting and important project restoring habitats for butterflies and other pollinators.

As someone who dabbles in creating and tending pollinator friendly gardens in my yard this project caught my eye. Not only are pollinators delightful to watch they also provide so many benefits that we probably don't even realize.

1000 acres of habitat is great but I imagine that most of us don't have that kind of space, so if you have the means, plant a pollinator friendly garden or even a single plant. It can make a difference.

Healthy pollinators mean healthy ecosystems and a stronger food supply for all of us.
