- Gift paper is not recycled.

- Scotch tape, stickers and anything that is "contaminated" with glue - also can not be recycled or cleaned for recycling.

- 2/3 of the plastic we throw away in the recycling bin cannot actually be recycled

- Of all the 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic produced so far, only 9% have actually been recycled.
