At just 13, Yolanda Renee King is already picking up where her grandfather left off. Expressing the importance of the right to vote, equal rights, and community service for a better future. She is a strong young lady that carries the legacy of her family. I am sure her we will see a lot of her in years to come.
Her advice on this MLK day: “I think that instead of idolizing my grandfather, pick a service project and do something to help the community,” Yolanda said. “It could be something as simple as picking up trash around your neighborhood park.”
It's a small ask with a big impact.
“Although you may not be old enough to vote, you are the future. You and your decisions determine the future of the world.”
