NASA's Artemis I Moon Launch: What You Need to Know About the Historic Mission

Monday, 29 August.... 50 years after our first trip to the moon, I am anxiously waiting to run outside and watch the 8:33AM EST launch of Artemis I. Another perk of now living in Florida, we can actually watch the space launches from Cape Canaveral thanks to an app that provides live streaming and a navigation tool to know exactly where to look in the sky.

This is the first in a series of missions before they will send the first woman and person of color to the moon! Exciting times! If you are not close enough to run out your front door check out the live stream of this monumental event, fingers crossed there are no weather or mechanical delays!

Live Stream:

Artemis I Launch to the Moon (Official NASA Broadcast) - YouTube

This program is poised to accomplish thrilling feats like planting the first woman and the first person of color on the moon, building a lunar base camp, constructing a spaceship in lunar orbit, connecting an off-world internet, and even laying the groundwork for a future in which humankind settles Mars.
